Job Announcement For Program Director Adolescent Residential

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY: Provides overall program supervision of the Adolescent Residential Program. Ensures that all treatment services and interventions are provided in accordance with established levels of professional practice. Provides direct program supervision to all Adolescent Residential Program staff. Participates in the development of long-range planning; develops, implements, and monitors appropriate clinical criteria and need; and provides individual, group, and family therapy.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Thorough knowledge of residential program administration is essential. Familiarity with pertinent treatment modalities for seriously emotionally disturbed and developmentally delayed adolescents is required. Knowledge of family therapy interventions is also required. Interpersonal skills and the ability to provide leadership to a diverse spectrum of professionals and para-professionals is significant. Strong knowledge of Behavior Management techniques as well as psychotherapy are essential. Requires a Master�s degree in Human Services or related field with three (3) years or better of experience with youth and families; supervisory experience preferred. Must be licensed or licensable in the state of Montana as a LCPC or LSW. ABA experience is preferred and monetarily rewarded.

Job Announcement For Program Manager II

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY: This is a salaried position that will direct and supervise all aspects of the daily functioning of a group home. Disciplines staff as needed under the direction of the Program Director. Schedules shifts and monitors record-keeping and treatment plans. Evaluates staff performance. Provides administrative input to the program�s management team. Provides clinical treatment to all residents in the home on a daily basis under the supervision of the Director and the Therapist. Shift varies according to staffing needs.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: This position requires the employee to have a minimum of a Bachelor�s degree in a human service or at least three years of direct employment experience, in addition to holding a supervisory or leadership position for one year. The employee will be required to pass and maintain mandatory training certifications, including First Aid, CPR, Medication Certification, and H.E.L.P. training.

Job Announcement For Youth Residential Treatment Service Technician

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs routine duties for the protection, care, and supervision of adolescent residents living in AWARE, Inc. residences. Specific duties may include assisting residents during mealtimes, assisting with household chores while maintaining a safe, attractive, and comfortable environment. May also plan, escort, and participate in community and group home activities, including recreational, leisure, vocational, and educational activities in order to build skills and meet individual goals.

COMPETENCIES:
Knowledge regarding the needs and treatment of adolescents diagnosed with serious emotional disturbances, along with the willingness and ability to teach and work effectively with such individuals.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
A High School Diploma or GED is required, along with a valid Montana State Drivers License. Prior employment experience is preferred.

Job Announcement For Youth Residential Night Watch

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The primary responsibility of this position is the protection, care, and supervision of consumers in a residential placement. The Night Watch conducts a variety of functions to maintain a safe environment for consumers, including maintenance and cleaning, observation and record keeping, and transportation (school, work, etc.) tasks as well as performing emergency or HELP procedures, as necessary. Night Watch staff will perform other duties, as assigned by the supervisor(s).

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Requires a High School Diploma or GED; past work experience in a human service setting preferred. The employee will be required to undergo training and to pass testing in First Aid/CPR, Medication Certification, and HELP. Valid Montana Driver�s License and clean motor vehicle record preferred.

Job Announcement For Adult Case Manager

GENERAL SUMMARY: Provides case management services to adults with severe and disabling mental illnesses, as defined by the State of Montana. Case management services will be provided to gain access to needed medical, social, educational, vocational, recreational, and other services as requested or needed.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Establish a customer caseload with the Treatment Services Director, Community Director, and/or the Regional Director. Provide assistance in accessing and obtaining needed services, coordinate, develop and monitor an Individual Treatment Plan, 24 hour crisis intervention for personal, social, or medical crisis. Prepare reports, applications, and supporting documentation within the timelines established by the Treatment Services, Community, or Regional Director(s).

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Bachelor�s Degree in Human Services, Social Work, or a related field and experience working with adults with chronic and severe disabling mental illnesses.

Job Announcement For Treatment Service Clinician - SS

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: In a collaborative relationship with Head Start, the Treatment Service Clinician would provide early intervention services to young children who are emotionally disturbed. May also provide support to families as well as other agency professionals to meet the needs of youth and families. Presents as a leader in developing and implementing the service plan and Individual Treatment Plan. Assesses the clinical needs of youth and families and makes treatment recommendations. Makes intervention suggestions to other members of the support team. Performs as a member of the interdisciplinary team for the youth. May provide outpatient therapy, including individual, group, and family therapy to youth with SED.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: A thorough clinical understanding of young children who are emotionally challenged and who have learning differences. An ability to assess youth and their families from a strengths perspective; a developed theoretical prospective. A good ability to work with a variety of people. Strong oral and written communication skills.

An advanced degree (MA or MS) in Psychology or Social Work and direct work experience with performance indicators that reflect an ability to be a team leader. Requires three years of direct work experience with youth who are emotionally challenged and with their families. Licensing preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Under AWARE�s Unconditional Care Philosophy this position requires knowledge about the needs of persons with developmental disabilities, ability to teach and work effectively with persons with disabilities, and sensitivity to the consumers' needs. Willingness to attend specialized training directed toward working with the developmentally disabled.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: The successful candidate must have a well documented work history, and a minimum of four (4) years, in working with children with autism, those with special needs, or those with developmental disabilities. A candidate without the needed experience may establish an equivalency if they hold a BA/BS Degree in Human Services.
