Montana Council on Homelessness
This Council was formed in 2004 to examine the root causes of homelessness and develop solutions through fundamental changes in state policy. This site lists the Council’s members and publications to date.
2005 Montana Homeless Survey
This site has the results of the Montana homeless survey conducted January 27, 2005. Once you download the free Adobe plugin tool on the main page you can click at the bottom of the page to use the Montana Homeless Survey Analysis Tool. This tool lets you create customized reports of the homeless survey results.
National Homeless Resources
Corporation for Supportive Housing (CSH)
CSH helps communities create permanent housing with services in order to prevent and end homelessness. Their site serves as a resource for building supportive housing and for advocating for solutions to end long-term homelessness. The site also has guides and other publications to aid in eradicating homelessness.
Technical Assistance Collaborative (TAC)
TAC works extensively in the fields of affordable housing and permanent supportive housing. TAC develops integrated and consumer-oriented strategies and plans to improve the effectiveness of housing and service approaches and expand affordable housing opportunities for extremely low-income households who have disabilities or who are homeless.
National Alliance to End Homelessness
The National Alliance to End Homelessness is a non-profit organization that developed a Ten-Year Plan to End Homelessness. Their site offers resources to assist service providers, advocates, and public officials in developing and implementing plans to end homelessness.
